500 Albums Challenge 31/500: King of Blue- Miles Davis

After a few busy days, I’m back here to share my thoughts on the 31st album on the list. This one is King of Blue by Miles Davis. I heard of Miles Davis before and I knew this is one of the most classic jazz album. But I never listened to any jazz. Now I really wanna check out some jazz music. Interestingly, there are only 5 songs on the album.

Let’s Go…

1. So What- Interesting song, sounds kinda nostalgic, just reminds me of the past somehow. But since it is my first time trying out Jazz music, I can’t really appreciate it and have no idea what makes the song great.
2. Freddie Freeloader- Same thing here
3. Blue in Green-
4. All Blues-
5. Flamenco Stretches- This song let me think of New York City

I hate to say this but I just can’t understand jazz music. So it’s hard to like a type of music if you don’t understand it. Maybe I will know it better in the future.
